Welcome to the Convolvulaceae Network!

We are a group of researchers with an interest in different aspects of Morning Glories, Sweet Potato, and family Convolvulaceae as a whole: ecology, evolution, taxonomy, conservation, genomics, genetics, crop improvement, pollination, reproductive biology, and plant-fungi interaction.
We started in 2019 as a small group meeting every week on Skype, and we have now grown to over 200 participants from over 30 countries.
Exchange

We connect researchers and help people interested in Convolvulaceae.

Events

We organize seminars, workshops, and just general fun. :)

Shared Values

We share values and support inclusion.

Seminars

We meet informally every Friday to present our work and discuss new ideas. All are welcome to join our sessions, even if you do not have a primary interest in Convolvulaceae.
On our Seminar page, you can find more information about the upcoming seminars, and you can click below to sign-up to our mailing list and receive the weekly reminders.

Consortium

We have recently developed a more structured framework that enhances and nurtures collaboration between researchers with a targeted interest in science and conservation of Convolvulaceae.
We abide by shared values and a Memorandum of Cooperation, which ensures a respectful collaborative environment for all. We have regular General Meetings and Workgroup meetings, which are smaller settings for discussion of a narrower range of research topics.
